"When I worship, I would rather my heart be without words
than my words be without heart."
Worship is central to our life as a community. Our Sunday and special services feed our spirits and send us forth to be the peace-making, justice-building people of God in our community. In our worship, we find inspiration in scripture, music, prophetic challenge, sermon, and silence. We value diverse voices in our worship and rely upon both ministerial and lay leadership.
We have Sunday services at 10 am, followed by hospitality and sharing of coffee and cookies. Throughout the year, we also hold services to mark special days in the Christian calendar (such as Christmas and Holy Week) and in the secular calendar.
Bible Study meets every first and third Wednesday of the month. Together, Bible study members choose a book of the Bible and read and discuss it, responding to theological and spiritual thoughts as they are raised by our close reading of scripture. All ideas and views are welcome.
