Interested in joining a book study around a timely and funny book? We will be reading The Separation of Church and Hate: A Sane Person's Guide to Taking Back the Bible From Fundamentalists, Fascists, and Flock Fleecing Frauds.

It is a smart and witty book focused on how the bible and Jesus's own teachings have been perverted and used to justify harm, but more importantly, how we can stand up for his teachings, especially in the face of our current political climate. The book is written with humor and compassion, but be aware, it can use some edgy language and does not shy away from uncomfortable topics.
